Germany 2019 - Wall of Berlin
30 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Germany decided to hit a new coin (its 2nd of the year) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Particular feature of this coin: It is inspired by the design of the French coin which will be hit in November concerning this same anniversary. A difference between these two drawings appears in the text: in 2 languages on the original RF design of the Paris Mint, it is only in German on the German coin.

We can see two fragments painted and inscribed from the Berlin wall. The fragment on the left shows the inscription "30 YEARS OF WALLFALL". Simone Veil, French stateswoman
Simone Veil, been born Jacob on July 13th, 1927 in Nice and died on June 30th, 2017 in Paris, is a French stateswoman.
Born in a Jewish family, she is deported to Auschwitz at the age of 16, during Shoah, where she loses her father, her brother and her mother. Survivor with her sisters Madeleine and Denise, them too deported, her husband Antoine Veil in 1946 then, after law studies and after political science, between in the judiciary as the senior official.

Centenary of Auguste Rodin's death
Auguste Rodin (René François), born in Paris November 12th, 1840, died to Meudon, November 17th, 1917, is one of the most important French sculptors of the second half of the xixe century, considered one of the fathers of the modern sculpture.
Heir of the centuries of humanism, the realistic art of Rodin is an outcome, a crossing of romanticism and impressionism the sculpture of which is modelled by the fight between the shape and the light. The virility of the artist, nicknamed at the appropriate time the " Sacred Billy goat ", caused semipublic or private dramas, and is in the center of a plastic expression of the sensualism, the eroticism, but also the pain. By its capacity of work, organization Rodin leave a work except standard.
Auguste Rodin's work consists about 7 000 sculptures, 10 000 drawings, 1 000 engravings and 10 000 photos. For sculptures the used techniques are the modelling in clay, the direct plaster, the bronze, the molten glass, the ceramic and the marble. Its main subject is the male or feminine human body, of which the portrait. In front of the scale of its work, in number and by its imagination, in front of its universal reception of its work, we can only comment that a part of this one.

The Discobolus is one of the most famous statues of the Antiquity. Generally attributed to Myron, Athenian sculptor of the ve century BC, It represents an athlete throwing the disk.
